Dropped our Jack Russell's high liver markers.
Helped drop our Jack Russell's high liver markers right down towards normal.
maxxiSAMe is especially formulated to address two common health issues in our cats:
Promotes Liver Health: SAM-e supplementation increases the glutathione level in the body, which protects the liver from further damage (protects liver cells from cell death) and supports healing and repair of liver cells (cell regeneration). SAM-e is the recommended supplement for most liver health problems in pets, like Chronic Active Hepatitis, Acute Liver Failure, Liver Shunt, Hepatic Lipidosis (Fatty Liver) and Cholangiohepatitis
Supports Cognitive Function: SAM-e helps to increase the dopamine function in the brain, stimulates brain function, works as an antioxidant and neuroprotector. SAM-e supplementation has been shown to be safe and effective way to stall or improve mental decline in ageing cats suffering from Feline Cognitive Dysfunction Syndrome (CDS)
It contains patented stabilized powdered form of SAM-e that guarantees the availability of SAM-e when taken orally and protects it from interaction with environmental factors. Which explains why maxxiSAMe can be given with food.
maxxiSAMe also contains other active ingredients that support hepatic and brain function in cats, like artichoke, choline, and inositol. It also contains various B vitamins as they are essential for the liver to perform its multitude of metabolic functions. B vitamins also improve the absorption of SAM-e.
Natural flavour. Suitable for all cat breeds.
Made in the USA in GMP and NASC (National Animal Supplement Council) certified manufacturing facility using NON-GMO pharmaceutical Human Grade ingredients, tested for purity and potency.

This product has made such a difference to my elderly dog
This is amazing product, we sincerely believe this is what gave us the extra time we needed with our dog but our vet was talking about euthanasia before we started giving him maxxiSAMe. His liver was in bad shape but I was willing to try everything before sending him over the rainbow bridge. He was not eating well at this point so I mixed tiny amount with small piece of his favorite pate and I managed to get that down him few times a day. He quickly perked up and started eating better and even enjoy short walks again. We knew he was old and his time with us was coming to an end but we got 8 more months with him which meant everything to us. Thank you maxxipaws from the bottom of our hearts.
My older cat’s liver values were slightly elevated and the vet recommended SAMe and I was happy to find out that maxxipaws offers liver support but I have been using their probiotics for a while now. He is not that picky but he is a nightmare if you have to give him tablets so I see it as extra bonus that I can mix this with his food. I had a blood test done after about 2 months and his liver values are back to normal. The vet is happy for me to keep him on this as a preventive. He says it is also good for his brain and joints which is also a bonus.
I have been using this for over a year and it is helping to keep my dog’s liver values within normal range. He does not mind this being added to his food which is much easier than giving him tablets on an empty stomach. Can recommend.
My 13-year-old girl Daisy had been showing signs of old age confusion lately so I decided to try to give her maxxiSAMe but I have been loyal maxxidigest+ customer for years. I’m very glad I did as I have seen good improvement in both her behaviour and energy. She is not as agitated, she is enjoying her walks more and she sleeps better. The vet said this is a great product for senior dogs like her as it is also good for the liver and joints. Happy to recommend.
Great solution for dogs who do not like taking pills. I found it difficult to remember to give the pills an hour before eating so my poor oldie often had to wait for his food which he HATED! This can be given with food and he does not mind this being added to his food which is also great (I always had to hide the tablets). Most importantly, his liver values are good and the scary vet is happy.
I have a serious cat rescue addiction and currently have 8 cats (I know, crazy cat lady!). I use most of the maxxicat products for one or more of them. The 5 oldest are on maxxidigest to help with their digestive problems. It works very well for them all, they stools are firmer and more regular and they all like the taste. Luna and Nala are on maxxiUtract as they have had number of UTI‘s in the past. It works like magic for them, been no UTI flare up since I started giving it to them. My oldest, Simba, is on maxxiSAMe as it helps with his old age confusion. It was not easy to get him to accept it first. I find it is difficult to add anything new for cats with dementia. But I put small amount in a pate and role it into a small ball. Twice a day is his daily dose and he loves his special pate. I feel it is helping him, he definitely seems more alert and less stressed. Finally I started to give 3 of them the new dental product. Started with those that need it most. If it works well for them then I plan to add it for the others as preventive. I think it is fair to say that I‘m a maxxicat fan. Thank you maxxipaws for great feline products. There are so many dog products available but so few companies offer cat versions and cat sizes.
I used maxxiSAMe first 3 years ago for my dog with elevated liver enzymes. He was only 5 years old at the time. Amazingly after few months of use the liver levels were down to normal. I was overjoyed and thought this was all over and just finished the bottle and didn´t order more. That was a mistake. Few months ago, his liver enzymes showed elevated again. I immediately ordered more maxxiSAMe and his latest blood tests show the enzymes are back to normal. I will be giving this to him for life now. The vet is also very impressed and says he will now be recommending this to other dogs with elevated liver enzymes. Happy customer, happy dog, happy vet 😊
Our 13 year old Golden Retriever had a rising level of APT and ALT. Even though we know this is not uncommon when dogs get older this was causing us concerns so our vet suggested that we started him on maxxiSAMe. He has been on this now for few weeks and we cannot believe the change in him. He is again playing with our other dogs, but he had been ignoring them lately, and he is now keen to join them on our walks. We can tell he is back to being a happy dog. Such a lovely feeling to watch him. One advice, he was not keen on this on his dry food but now we just mix his daily dose with little bit of canned food and he happily gobbles it down 😊 Will continue to use and happy to recommend.
